Introduction

Dentistry is a branch of medicine that deals with the study, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity. The department of dental is actively involved in patient dental care and gum diseases. The department consist of fully pledged dental equipment and dental chair . A team of specialists, general practitioners, hygienists, chair side assistants, and office and allied staff work together to provide a range of services Our main aim is diagnosing and controlling infections which is conducive to the overall health and wellbeing of the patient.

The department consistently puts the best foot forward in the direction of conducting various dental outreach programs (Screening & Treatment) as well as organizing of various social activities like tree plantation programs, anti–tobacco activities, Smoking cessation programmes,oral hygiene awareness etc all for public welfare & community upliftment. The department aims to provide high standards of care on the foundation of ethical principles, scientific inquiry and professional excellence, with the grace of God in the service of the nation, and through its training programs, develop compassionate and well-equipped individuals to carry out this work.
